Mao Zedong is a great leader of our people, deeply respected and loved by the people of all ethnic groups in China. He also set a shining example for us to respect our teachers.
When Mao Zedong was a child, he studied in a private school in his hometown. At that time, a teacher named Mao Yuju taught him. The teacher thinks that Mao Zedong is very talented and clever, and he likes it very much. Mao Zedong also respects this teacher. 1959, Mao Zedong, then the Party and president, returned to his hometown and invited the old people in Shaoshan to dinner, including Mr. Mao Yuju. When Mao Zedong toasted the teacher, the old man Mao Yuju said, "Chairman, how dare you toast!" However, Mao Zedong said, "It is right to respect the old and love the young!"
When Mao Zedong was studying in Hunan First Normal University, the two teachers he admired most were Mr. Yang Huaizhong and Mr. Xu Teli.
Mr. Yang Huaizhong, also known as Yang Changji, is Yang Kaihui's father. He once taught self-cultivation, education, ethics and other courses in Hunan First Normal University. Think that Mr. Yang is a "man of noble character". He is glad to have such a noble, knowledgeable and rigorous teacher. He often goes to Mr. Yang's residence on Sundays and holidays to discuss problems and revise his notes. Mr. Yang paid special attention to him and praised him for his "handsome qualifications", which was "extremely rare".
Mr. Xu Teli later joined the revolution and 1927 joined the party. He is one of the famous "Five Old Men" in China. In the later revolutionary struggle, Mao Zedong always had great respect for Xu Teli. On 1937 Lao Xu's 60th birthday, Mao Zedong wrote a warm congratulatory letter. The letter said: "You were my husband 20 years ago, you are still my husband now, and you will be my husband in the future." 1947 On Lao Xu's 70th birthday, Mao Zedong wrote the inscription "Strong Veteran".
He expressed his respect and congratulations.
What is even more touching is that Mao Zedong can treat teachers with shortcomings and mistakes correctly, just like Zhang Qian, president of Hunan First Normal University.
Zhang Qian was the principal of Mao Zedong when he was studying in Hunan First Normal University. Because of maintaining the old education system and causing students' dissatisfaction, Mao Zedong took the lead in launching the "Zhang-Drive Movement", forcing Zhang Qian to leave the First Division. In the early days of liberation, Mao Zedong learned that after leaving the First Division, Zhang Qian did not become an official in the reactionary government, but kept teaching in schools, which was very valuable. When chatting with friends, he said that Zhang Qian was young and capable at that time, and he could climb up. He doesn't climb up, but teaches honestly, which shows that he is good. Later, Mao Zedong gave Zhang Qian enthusiastic care and help in thought and life.
