Policy basis: Notice on Further Improving the Scholarship System for Students from Poor Families in Nanjing (Ning Jiaocai [2017] No.22) and Implementation Measures for Identifying Students from Poor Families in Nanjing (Ning Jiaocai [202 1] 1No.).
Applicant: Students from public, private kindergartens, full-time public, non-profit private compulsory education, ordinary high schools and special education schools, public secondary vocational schools and vocational education administrative departments in Nanjing. With the legal approval of national standards, students in private secondary vocational schools are full-time in the first semester of grade one, grade two, grade three and the first semester of five-year compulsory junior high school, and the financial ability of students and their families is difficult to meet their basic expenses at school or kindergarten.
Funding criteria: Living allowance (bursary) for students (children) from poor families is divided into two grades according to the degree of family economic poverty. Among them, living allowance (bursary) for children from urban and rural low-income families, orphans and students from poor families with original files and cards is increased by 50% according to the municipal basic subsidy standard, and living allowance (bursary) for other students (children) from poor families is paid according to the municipal basic subsidy standard.
The basic subsidy standard of living allowance for children with financial difficulties in kindergartens is 750 yuan per person per semester;
In the compulsory education stage, the basic standard of living allowance for students from poor families is 750 yuan per semester for primary schools and 1000 yuan per semester for junior high schools;
The basic subsidy standard for high school grants for students with financial difficulties in ordinary high schools is 1000 yuan per person per semester;
Students in Grade One, Grade Two and Grade Three in secondary vocational schools with full-time formal status, students with financial difficulties in non-agricultural majors and students with financial difficulties in Grade Three in secondary vocational schools in the first semester, the basic subsidy standard per person per semester is 1 000 yuan.
