China Civil Aviation Flight Academy is directly under the Civil Aviation Administration of China. Its predecessor was 1956 May. It was established with the approval of Premier Zhou Enlai and was appointed as the military and political leader by President Mao Zedong. In September of the same year, with the approval of the Ministry of National Defense, the school was renamed the 14th Aviation School of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

1963 In May, the Ministry of Education reported to the State Council that the school was included in the list of institutions of higher learning. In June of the same year, according to the instructions of the Central Military Commission, the school was renamed China Civil Aviation Advanced Aviation School. 1987 65438+February, renamed as Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China.

After nearly 62 years of construction and development, the school has become a full-time university with the largest flight training scale and the strongest ability in the world, and has a very high influence in China, especially in the field of international civil aviation. More than 90% of the captains of civil aviation in China graduated from this school, which is known as the "cradle" of civil aviation pilots in China and the "Huangpu" of civil aviation management cadres in China.

The school is a maintenance and repair center authorized by well-known aviation companies such as Bendiks/King Company, Lycoming Motives and Continental Engine. It is also an English "examiner" training center and examination center for ICAO pilots and controllers authorized by China Civil Aviation, an aircraft maintenance license examination center, a flight dispatcher training center and an engineering technology training center, providing technical support and training for China civil aviation legislation and bidding.
