Rousseau's educational thought and its significance
Rousseau's educational thought strongly criticized the feudal education and religious prejudice at that time and inspired the struggle of the emerging bourgeoisie against feudal autocracy. His idea of education in stages according to children's age characteristics is also a great progress in the history of education. But his plan to educate and reform the nobility is just a naive fantasy. As for his education of women, he still hasn't got rid of feudal prejudice.
