As a kindergarten teacher, no matter the difficulties or challenges in education, you need to struggle and keep making progress. Teaching, especially in poor areas, requires us to be brave, firm and responsible. I once had such an experience of teaching and deeply realized this.
First teaching
I remember last summer, I went to a kindergarten in a poor area of Yunnan Province to teach with several other kindergarten teachers. When we got there, we saw a simple and simple village. All the children in the garden live here. They are very kind and lovely. Because the child is cheerful and simple in nature, he soon likes our distant teacher and is attracted by us.
The classroom lacks basic equipment and teaching resources, and children's language expression ability is very weak, not to mention early childhood education. So we simply went to the local market and bought many toys, picture books, flowers and fruits for the children. In our carefully organized games and activities, children become more lively, more confident and more fond of learning. In this process, we feel more and more responsible. We should not only bring more happiness to children, but also make them feel the charm of knowledge.
Education should keep pace with the times.
In addition, we have also considered many local realities and local preschool education. We find that the local preschool education has not been well developed, which will inevitably lead to cultural poverty and lack of knowledge. Take our kindergarten at that time, for example, the teaching content there was mainly reading children's songs, knowing basic habits and simple numbers. This traditional curriculum content can no longer meet the requirements of modern society for early childhood education.
Fortunately, the local government also attaches great importance to preschool education, so our preschool education pays more attention to innovation and curriculum diversification, adding more interesting links such as picture books, games and handicrafts. In this way, we expose children to more diversified contents and more interesting activities, and let them subtly increase their knowledge and ability in a happy situation. These changes are fully reflected in their lives and studies.
Education should bring about change.
The significance of teaching lies in that we let local children get in touch with more people and things outside by going out to see the world. For those children, this is undoubtedly a rare experience. We hope that children will pursue their dreams under our leadership, learn to think, discover, think and explore at the same time, and strive to turn these learning achievements into personal and social values. This is also the purpose of our teaching.
Finally, I want to say that "teaching" is not only a kind of hardship and challenge, but also a kind of growth and gain. We go deep into the lowest educational scene to feel the original ecological life, to feel the simplest emotion and warmth. Modern people are often in an environment with rich materials and convenient life, and kindergarten teachers' teaching is to experience more life, affection and friendship through contact with children. This is irreplaceable by any material wealth.
