Breast milk production is not a fixed figure.
Don't worry about the different amount of breastfeeding each time. Breast milk production will be adjusted according to the baby's needs. If the milk is not enough, you can try to breastfeed more times or stimulate with a breast pump.
Breast-feeding posture should be correct
Make sure that the baby's mouth completely covers the nipple and areola, so that you can eat better and your mother will not have nipple pain. If you are not sure how to do it, you can find a nursing coach to help you.
Catch the baby's hunger signal.
Grabbing, sucking fingers, turning to look for breasts … these are all signs that the baby is hungry. Don't wait for them to cry before feeding them, or they will be hungrier.
You should know that the baby is full.
When babies start to relax or slip off their nipples, it may be that they are full. Don't force them to eat, it will make them uncomfortable.
Mother's nutrition and water can't be less.
For the sake of baby's milk and health, mother should remember to eat well and drink enough. Eat a balanced diet and drink plenty of water. Pregnant women can consider taking vitamins.
Rest after breastfeeding.
After breastfeeding, mothers may feel tired. Give yourself some time, have a good rest and get ready for the next breastfeeding.
Bottles and pacifiers should be used with caution.
Premature use of these may affect breastfeeding. If you really need it, remember to listen to the advice of your doctor or lactation consultant.
