Guidance unit of China Customs Association
The guiding unit of China Customs Association is the General Administration of Customs.

The customs declaration association is a self-regulatory trade organization voluntarily composed of customs declaration units and relevant social groups and individuals, and it is a non-profit social group legal person. Since the first local customs declaration association was established in Shanghai in February 1999, more than ten local customs declaration associations have been established in China.

On June 5438+February 1 1, 2002, China Customs Association was established, which was initiated and prepared by seven units including the General Administration of Customs. The first batch of 435 customs declaration enterprises and social organizations came from 23 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.

Its purpose is to cooperate with government departments to strengthen the management of China's customs declaration industry; Maintain and improve the operating order of the customs declaration market; Promote exchanges and cooperation among members, represent the interests of the industry according to law, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of members; Promote the healthy development of China's customs declaration service industry.

China Customs Association mainly undertakes the following functions:

(a) to assist government departments to regulate the customs declaration industry behavior, participate in the formulation of customs declaration industry standards, and strengthen industry self-discipline in accordance with the requirements of industry standards.

(two) to carry out investigation and research on the customs declaration industry, comprehensively analyze the relationship between supply and demand and the development trend of the customs declaration market, provide information consulting services for members, and make suggestions for the government to formulate industry management policies.

(three) on behalf of the industry to coordinate the working relationship with relevant government departments and enterprises, objectively reflect the demands of members, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of members.

(4) Collecting, sorting out and sending information about the customs declaration industry, organizing relevant seminars and exhibitions, publishing periodicals and professional journals, and establishing websites.

(five) to organize the training of customs declaration practitioners, improve the quality of customs declaration practitioners, carry out customs declaration level tests and industry skill competitions, and participate in the professional construction of customs declaration practitioners.

(six) to carry out outstanding appraisal and commendation activities for enterprises and employees in the customs declaration industry.

(seven) to carry out the industry management of pre classified social services.

(eight) to coordinate and support the business development and work exchange of local customs declaration associations.

(nine) on behalf of the industry to participate in international organizations of the same industry, to carry out international cooperation and exchanges.

(10) Organize various industry-related exhibitions.

(eleven) to undertake the government to purchase services.
