What are the characteristics of staying in Suzhou Park?
Lingering Garden is a large-scale classical private garden in China, covering an area of 23,300 square meters, representing the style of the Qing Dynasty. This garden is famous for its architectural art, spacious and gorgeous hall and various courtyards. The whole garden adopts irregular layout, which makes the garden architecture integrate with mountains, water and stones to show natural interest. Using cloud walls and buildings, the garden is divided into four different scenic spots: China, East, North and West. The middle is good at mountains and rivers, the east wins with halls and courtyards, and the north displays hundreds of plain bonsai, which is an idyllic scenery. There are quite desolate mountains and forests in the west. At the same time, they are connected by curved corridors. It is circuitous and continuous, reaching more than 700 meters. It's quiet and beautiful here.

The central part is the original base of Hanbi Villa, with a wide pool in the middle, mountains in the west and north, and buildings in the east and south. The rockery is dominated by earth and stacked with Yellowstone, which is magnificent. There are towering old trees on the mountain, showing a gloomy atmosphere of the forest. The water meandering among folk songs is like the source of pool water. Bishan Building and Minse Building in the south of China are the main buildings in Lingering Garden. Pavilions and pavilions, such as forequarters, and open halls, such as middle cabins, are shaped like original ships. There is a green corridor on the east side of the pavilion, which is small and elegant. Between the water hanging and the railing, a landscape picture emerges. There is a climbing corridor on the west side of Hanbi Mountain House, which rises and falls with the mountain, connecting the top of the mountain with Wenmu Xiangxuan. Osmanthus fragrans is planted all over the mountain, and the flowers are floating. The mountains are high and cool, and you can have a panoramic view when you look around. Small and medium-sized Penglai Island in the pool shows blue waves. Haopu Pavilion, Quxi Building, West Building and Qingfengchi Pavilion in Dong Chi are surrounded by mountains and waters, with ups and downs. The rocks in the north of the pool stand upright, and the valley is looming, but the pavilion stands on the hill, which is likely to fly in the air.

The east gate overlaps and the courtyard is deep. The patchwork of leaky windows, doorways and corridors between courtyards set each other off and become the most varied buildings in Suzhou gardens. The main hall, Wu Fengxian Mountain Pavilion, commonly known as Nanmu Hall, is beautifully decorated and elegantly furnished. There are courtyards in the west, such as Crane Tower, Shilin Courtyard, Yifeng Pavilion and Guiwo Reading Room. The main hall of Nymphs is Yuanyang Hall, which is covered with a carved round hole in the middle. The main hall is of primitive simplicity. In the north of the hall stands the famous Liuyuan Three Peaks, with the cloud peak in the middle and Ruiyunfeng and Xiuyunfeng around. The peak of the cloud, 6.5 meters high, is said to be the relic of the Flower Stone Class in Song Dynasty and the largest lake stone in Jiangnan Garden. In front of the peak stone is the Huan Yun swamp, surrounded by Guanyun Tower, Guanyun Pavilion, Guanyuntai and Juyun Temple, all of which are places to enjoy the stone.

The west is dominated by rockeries, and the rocks are alternating with each other, which is natural. There are many maple trees on the mountain, with shade in midsummer and rosy clouds in late autumn. Zhile Pavilion and Xiao Shu Pavilion are looming in the Woods. Climbing high and looking far, you can borrow scenic spots in the western suburbs. The cloud wall on the left side of the mountain undulates like Youlong. The piedmont curve flows and the water gurgles. There is a water pavilion at the east foot, which is "lively and splashing" and lies across the stream, giving people a feeling of endless water.

The original buildings in the north have already been destroyed. Now bamboo, plums, peaches and apricots are widely planted, and grapes and wisteria are built in "another village" The rest of the land has become a bonsai garden, with lush flowers and trees, and still has an idyllic taste.

The buildings in Suzhou Gardens are not only numerous, but also densely distributed, with reasonable layout and ingenious space handling. Each building has its own distinctive personality in its scenic area. On the whole, there is no sense of disorder, giving people a continuous whole concept.

The pavilions in the Lingering Garden are uneven, and the winding cloisters are as many as 700 meters, which is quite wonderful. Buildings account for about a quarter of the total area of the park. The architectural structural style represents the style of Qing Dynasty, creating many unique buildings in a small area, showing the artistic techniques of gardening everywhere.
