The purpose of this training course is to arouse and stimulate the general public's love for art and paper-cutting art, strengthen their understanding and cognition of intangible cultural heritage protection projects, improve their understanding and perception of beauty, and strengthen their coordination ability.
The primary class is mainly composed of citizens who have no foundation. Every Wednesday morning, 57 students sign up. The students in the further education class are mainly old students with a certain paper-cutting foundation. They have classes every Monday afternoon and have enrolled 36 students. This training course is free of charge and lasts for 30 class hours. The fine arts class is taught by Professor Wang Huaiying, director of Anhui Artists Association and president of Anhui Zhongshan Painting Academy, and the paper-cutting class is taught by Professor Liu Xiaochuan, the inheritor of the municipal intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting project. The training content is mainly about art introduction, paper-cutting art, appreciation and paper-cutting skills, and creative courses have been added to the promotion class.
