The College of Acupuncture and Moxibustion of the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in 1960. It is a provincial public full-time Chinese medicine professional school. Formerly known as School of Nursing, Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Later, based on the undergraduate education of the Nursing College of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it merged with Sichuan University (formerly West China University of Medical Sciences), so the teaching conditions were unique and the teaching quality was well-known. There are 100 full-time and part-time teachers. Among them, 60% have senior titles above associate professor, and 35% have intermediate titles. There are national vocational skill appraisal institute, health massage skill and appraisal center of acupuncture school, health massage practice base inside and outside the province, and nursing education and training center of traditional Chinese and western medicine in Sichuan Province. School vocational education has outstanding characteristics, focusing on skills training, taking market employment as the guidance, and taking the road of running schools by combining schools with enterprises, combining work with study and complementing each other's advantages.
