Teaching Cultivation of Psychology Department of Peking University
The Department of Psychology enrolls about 40 undergraduates, 65 master students and 0 doctoral students every year. At the same time, students from self-taught, evening university and on-the-job postgraduate classes are enrolled, and employees are accepted to apply for master's and doctoral degrees with the same academic ability.

The Department of Psychology is strong, attracting a group of high-quality students to enter the Department of Psychology with excellent results every year. Among them, after four years of study, most undergraduates have achieved excellent results and become the most competitive graduates. More than 85% of them continue to pursue postgraduate studies in China or enter famous foreign universities for further study. Our department has established long-term exchanges and cooperation with psychology departments of many famous foreign universities, including mutual visits, research, information sharing and teaching exchanges. The Department of Psychology also maintains various forms of academic exchanges with quite a few foreign research institutions and scholars. In addition, the Department of Psychology has a long-term academic cooperation agreement with the Department of Psychology of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

In recent years, the number of graduate students in psychology department has soared. In 2006, more than 600 people applied for master's degree, and the admission ratio was as high as 50: 1, ranking first in the whole school. Since 1998, the first postgraduate course of human resource management for applied psychology major was held, more than 2,000 people have joined the department successively. In addition, in recent years, the number of students from Hong Kong, Taiwan and foreign countries entering our department is also increasing, which reflects the trend of internationalization of our department's education.
