The lighting time of Nanjing Honghu Glass Tower is: it starts at six o'clock every night in winter and at seven o'clock every night in Xia San in spring and autumn. It is colorful and spectacular.

Dahongzhi Temple, located outside Zhonghua Gate in Qinhuai District, Nanjing, is the oldest Buddhist temple in China. Its predecessor was Jianchu Temple and Ashoka Pagoda, which were built during the Chiwu period in Wu Dong (238-250). It is the second temple in China after the White Horse Temple in Luoyang, the first Buddhist temple established in southern China and the Buddhist center in China. Hoonji glass tower is 78.2 meters high, and the whole tower body is made of glass. There are 146 ever-burning lamps outside the pagoda. After its completion, it has always been the tallest building in China and a miracle in the history of world architecture. It ranks among the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages and is regarded by westerners as a landmark building representing China at that time. It has the reputation of "China antique and Yongle kiln" and is called "the first tower in the world".
