Is there a difference between writing and calligraphy?
Recently, I read the book "Teaching Practice of Writing in Primary Schools" written by teacher Yu Kuirong, and basically found the answers to the above questions. Gradually, I got a more systematic understanding of the art of calligraphy, thought and understood deeper problems, and sought advice from people who have certain accomplishments in calligraphy. The goal is to be a qualified primary school writing teacher. Writing refers to general writing. The purpose of writing is to record language, express feelings and exchange ideas. General writing training, whether you use pencils, pens, ballpoint pens, writing brushes or other writing tools, even if you write words in a standardized, neat, smooth and beautiful way through training, as long as it is practical training, it still belongs to the category of writing. Calligraphy is simply the art of writing. More precisely, calligraphy is a unique China culture in China. It is an art to create the beauty of lines with Four Treasures of the Study (paper, ink, pen and inkstone) as a tool and Chinese characters as a carrier. It has gone beyond ordinary writing and is an artistic creation activity. Calligraphy can be practical, artistic, or divorced from practicality and become a pure artistic activity (such as today's seal script, wild grass writing, etc.) ) Calligraphy belongs to the art category. Writing and calligraphy are two different concepts, which are related and different. Writing is practical and instrumental, which can achieve the application effect; Calligraphy is based on writing. In order to meet higher requirements, people write words with strength, momentum, charm and artistic conception, and even express their own temperament, blending with the author's joys and sorrows to achieve pleasing and touching artistic effects. Writing is the foundation of calligraphy and belongs to the primary stage; Calligraphy is the advanced stage of writing and the sublimation of writing. If writing is compared to talking, calligraphy is singing; If writing is compared to doing exercises, calligraphy is dancing; If words are compared to the work of workers, then calligraphy is the design and creation of engineers. There is no conflict between the practicality of writing and the artistry of calligraphy. As practical writing, if a little artistry is added, the writing will be more beautiful, people will like reading more, and the application effect will increase; Writing is the foundation of calligraphy. On the basis of good writing, there is no insurmountable gap between the two. As a primary school teacher working in the front line of teaching, we should first fully understand the importance of writing teaching; Secondly, pay attention to the training of Chinese character writing, and strengthen the artistic accomplishment of calligraphy while mastering practical writing skills; Thirdly, we should study the law of calligraphy teaching, carry out calligraphy teaching activities according to the characteristics of primary school students, cultivate students' interest in learning Chinese characters, and guide outstanding students to develop calligraphy art to a higher level. Writing is a basic course in primary schools, and the main task is to guide students to write well. The teaching plan and Chinese syllabus promulgated by the state clearly stipulate that the task of writing teaching in primary schools is to train students to write correctly, accurately, neatly, skillfully and beautifully. Learn correct writing and writing methods, develop good writing habits, and shoulder the task of moral education, aesthetic education and promoting students' all-round development together with other disciplines. Writing can help students cultivate their temperament, exercise their will, work conscientiously and practically, promote their intelligence, health, interest and quality. By understanding the unique traditional art of the motherland and its development history, we can also cultivate students' patriotic sentiments and enhance national pride. The improvement of teachers' professional quality is the key to the development of writing teaching in primary schools. As the saying goes, "it takes hard work to strike while the iron is hot." If a teacher can write a beautiful blackboard writing, it will affect the writing of students in other classes. But as a writing teacher, you can't be satisfied with writing well in the ordinary sense. He should have a relatively professional level of calligraphy and a relatively systematic knowledge of calligraphy. After special pasting training, he should be familiar with several traditional regular script fonts, understand the generation, inheritance and development of various fonts, and understand the main calligraphers in history and their contributions to calligraphy. Only in this way can we be handy in teaching and achieve the requirement of "taking law as the top". In addition, writing teachers should also pay attention to strengthening the cultivation of calligraphy sister major-art major, as well as the study of aesthetics and psychology knowledge. Writing teaching in primary schools has its special rules. According to the age characteristics of primary school students, we should choose teaching materials, arrange the process reasonably and step by step. We shouldn't rush for success, but haste makes waste. For primary school students who have just entered school, we should first let them know the history of Chinese characters, enhance their pride and make them proud of the traditional culture of their motherland. With a strong sense of national pride, students naturally write more seriously. At this time, the teacher must explain to the students the matters needing attention in writing (pen holding posture, writing posture, etc.). After students understand the basic requirements of writing, they begin to train writing. In order to avoid boredom and arouse students' interest, several commonly used words with shelf structure are compiled into jingles. This is more interesting to write. At present, primary school students have a heavy academic burden and cannot arrange too much time for writing training; There is too much homework, and parents have arranged colorful extracurricular learning activities, which also has a certain impact on writing teaching. In order to finish homework as soon as possible, some children make time for leisure. The requirements for writing are relaxed at will, and they are either hastily completed or ignored in practical value. On the contrary, it has a bad influence on students, such as carelessness, lack of patience and boredom with writing. In view of this series of phenomena, writing teachers can organize some activities for students, such as writing competitions, holding calligraphy study columns, visiting calligraphy exhibitions, inviting calligraphers to perform calligraphy performances or watching fragments of calligraphy stories. Calligraphy class can break the usual class order, and students can walk around and communicate with students who write well. Tell a short calligraphy story before each writing class. Make the writing class a lively and interesting activity. Writing teaching in primary schools is mainly the training of writing practicality, but it also means writing well on the whole. Just as Guo Moruo, a famous calligrapher in China, wrote an inscription for training primary and secondary school students to write well: "To train primary and secondary school students to write well, it is not necessary for everyone to become a calligrapher, but always to write well, write more correctly, be cleaner and be easier to recognize ...". However, as writing teachers, we should not focus on "writing well". While making students generally write well, we should also pay attention to discovering and cultivating innovative writing talents, guide a few students with writing talent to develop in the direction of calligraphy art, make demands on a few students, give individual guidance, recommend talents to higher calligraphy schools and calligraphy training institutions in time, and discover and transport reserve calligraphers for the country.
