Self-driving route planning
The traffic in Shennongjia mainly depends on highways. National Highway 209 runs through Shennongjia forest area, and the rest are provincial or county roads. The general traffic route is to go to Shiyan or Yichang first, then start from Shiyan and Yichang, and the north-south line reaches Shennongjia forest area.
To travel to Shennongjia, you can drive south from Shiyan for about 4 hours and stay in Hongping or Muyu Town. It takes about 3 hours to drive to Yichang Shennongjia, and you can reach Muyu Town. You can also get off at Du He Toll Station of Bayi Expressway, cross Guxia Township and arrive at Dajiuhu Town. It takes about 4 hours by car. Shennongjia scenic spots are scattered, and several people can charter or rent a car. Generally, the chartered car is around 500 yuan every day, which can be negotiated.
The first stop is the road tour route of Muyu Town: the scenic spots around Muyu Town (Xiangxi Garden, Guanmen Mountain, Shennongtan and Tianshengqiao) Shennongding Dajiuhu (accommodation) Eye Scenic Area returns to National Highway 209. You can go to Shiyan, Xian 'an.
The first stop is the road tour route of Dajiu Lake: the scenic spots (accommodation) around Muyu Town in Shennongding Tianyan Scenic Area of Dajiu Lake return from Xingshan Expressway and you can go to Yichang, Enshi and Chongqing. If you want to go to Shiyan Wudang Mountain and Xi 'an, you can visit Tianyan Scenic Area on the last day.
Bus route planning
1. Guests flying to Shennongjia can take the bus to Muyu Town at Shennongjia Airport and arrive at Muyu Town for accommodation. The next day, take the tourist bus directly to Jiuhuping tourist transfer center, and then transfer to the scenic spot to visit Shennongding and Dajiuhu scenic spot. On the third day, Dajiu Lake took a bus to Muyu Town and took a tour bus to visit the surrounding scenic spots. On the fourth day, take the airport bus to Shennongjia Airport.
2. Yichang guests can take the shuttle bus from Yichang Central Station. The first stop is Muyu Town, the second stop is Shennongding and Dajiu Lake, and the third stop is to visit the scenic spots around Muyu or return. The route is similar to the guests on the plane.
3. Shiyan guests can take the shuttle bus to Muyu Town at Shiyan Bus Station.
