HP-Luoyang International Software Talents and Industrial Base Overview of HP-Luoyang International Software Talents and Industrial Base
HP's international software talent and industrial base is one of the most important strategic layouts of HP Software Group in China. In China market, the talent problem is the core factor that restricts the future development of HP. Our customers, partners, upstream and downstream enterprises are all facing the situation of more people and less talents. On the one hand, the cost of employing people is increasing at the rate of 10-20% per year. On the other hand, the students trained by colleges and universities are similar except for different levels, and the talents that HP can use are still limited. There is always an insurmountable gap between college graduates and enterprises, so that even graduates who enter enterprises cannot be directly used by enterprises in a short time.

In order to shorten the gap between college graduates and enterprises, Hewlett-Packard Software Group launched the "China Talent Industry Strategy". Hewlett-Packard invests in and cooperates with the government to build a large-scale software industry base, and supports and develops HP's global market by continuously cultivating high-end talents who master the core technologies of HP enterprise software. This is the most fundamental problem for the sustainable development of HP software industry.

On July 2013 18, Hewlett-Packard-Luoyang International Software Talent Machine Industry Base officially landed in Luoyang City, Henan Province, becoming the only international software talent and industrial base of China Hewlett-Packard Co., Ltd. in the Central Plains (Henan, Anhui and Shanxi).

As the largest strategic emerging industry project in Luoyang's history, the completed HP-Luoyang industrial base will boost Luoyang's IT industry into the forefront of the country, and make Luoyang form a high concentration of talents, technology and industry in a short time, which will not only solve the employment of outstanding IT graduates from 70 universities in Henan Province and surrounding areas, but also deliver high-end talents to the IT industry in the Central Plains and even the whole country, effectively alleviating the bottleneck of IT talent shortage. At the same time, building a leading international and domestic first-class software testing center will greatly enhance the concentration of software outsourcing industry and the influence of IT industry in Luoyang and Henan.

HP Luoyang Industrial Base Project is divided into two bases in Luoyang. The land for the western project is about 12 hectares, and the land for the eastern project is about 26 hectares. The whole project officially started in the first half of 20 15. At present, Luoyang municipal government has temporarily settled the transition zone between HP and Luoyang industrial base in the new campus of Luoyang Normal University. The school can provide 65,438+2,000 square meters of classrooms, 2,500 dormitories and canteens15,000 people for the project, which can be used in the early stage of the base training project.

At present, HP-Luoyang Industrial Base has 80 employees, of whom more than 95% have postgraduate and undergraduate degrees, and nearly 50% have overseas study background. The training teachers come from universities and HP software engineers in Henan Province, such as the United States, India, Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, among which front-line engineers from HP Global Software Service Delivery Center account for more than 50%.

Hewlett-Packard Industrial Base covers an area of 180 mu, including the headquarters of IT enterprises such as Hewlett-Packard Building, international apartments, supporting living service facilities and commercial service facilities. IT informatization projects from HP and China will also be introduced, attracting 65,438+000 upstream and downstream supporting, related software development and hardware production enterprises.
