◆1In August, 960, he was admitted to the Guqin major of the Department of Folk Music of Guangzhou Conservatory of Music, and began his Guqin art career in the next few decades under the guidance of the famous Lingnan Guqin master Mr. Yang Xinlun.

With Mr. Yang Xinlun, Mr. Guan Qingyao, students, teachers and students, he played "Fish and firewood Q&A", participated in the Muhui of Yangcheng Music Flower Festival and the folk concert of Guangzhou Conservatory of Music.

Under the guidance and instruction of Teacher Yang Xinlun, he rewrote the teaching materials, sorted out the Legacy of Gugang and gave the first disciple a high desire for survival, and sent it to Guqin major of Guangzhou Conservatory of Music to become the second generation students of Guqin major in professional colleges.
◆1950101On October 24th, with the support of Guangdong Music Association, Guangdong Guqin Research Association was established together with Mr. Yang Xinlun and Mr. Mo. As the secretary-general, Xie Daoxiu undertakes all the daily piano work, such as organizing regular collections and exchanging piano skills. In the middle and late 1980s, Wu Cuiqun, Chen Lei and Chen Ruiming joined the study of guqin. Later, more than 100 people studied Lingnan Guqin, and some came all the way from Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and Singapore. Guqin students Gao Yusheng, Wu Cuiqun, Xie, Li Jieting and Lin Minjun all won prizes in the National Guqin Competition.
◆ 1982 Niu On August 2nd, the 33rd episode of Guangdong TV series "Colorful Bonus" started shooting in Xiqiao Mountain, Nanhai County. Xie Daoxiu's guqin solo "Bijian Liu Quan" was selected for the Art Festival, and it was broadcast on provincial TV stations and CCTV successively.

Qin, Xiao and Shanghai violinist Dai Shuhong's "Liu Quan in Bijian" ensemble was selected in Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Auditorium to report the outstanding program of Central Woodyard. Also performing on the same stage are famous artists such as Gong Yi, Ma Yutao and Jiang Jiaqiang. The program was recorded by China People's Broadcasting Station and broadcast on FM channel.

In 2004, in order to celebrate the selection of Chinese Guqin as a World Heritage Site and to commemorate the birthday 105 anniversary of Mr. Yang Xinlun, a Guqin concert was held at the Red Line Women's Art Center. In June of the same year, he went to Hong Kong with Li Mingzhong, and held a guqin solo concert in the Hong Kong City Hall, where he played some famous Lingnan piano music such as Gull Forgetting the Machine, Apocalypse, Bijian Liu Quan and Black Nightingale. Lingnan Guqin entered ordinary universities for the first time. As early as two years ago, Guqin class was also offered in the Big Buddha Temple in Yuexiu District. Every major festival, the Vatican Orchestra of the Great Buddha Temple has a Guqin Festival performance.
