It has been almost four years since I left the community to work, but the 23 spring and autumn years I worked there are deeply hidden in my memory and can't be forgotten for a long time. This is not only because I have grown from an ordinary staff member to the head of the party and government in charge of the overall work of the street, but also because of my deep love for community work. I once wanted to do community work all my life. Just as I was fully engaged in the new year's work, I could not choose to accept the organization transfer and left with tears. What a pity, colleagues who work together! How nostalgic, fellow villagers in the community! Looking back on those dull days, I feel gratified and satisfied with the harmony and warmth I won for myself in savoring its ups and downs.
I changed jobs from the army and was assigned to the street office. Just received the registration notice, at a loss, I don't know what I want to do. Just then, one of my high school classmates kindly came to tell me that the street is a social group, and your future job is to deal with the elderly all day. Let me find someone to change my job quickly. I moved here because of my lover. Her parents are a pair of respectable and quiet ordinary workers, who have never known what it means to find a partner all their lives. Let's leave it to fate. After I came to work in the street, I realized that the street is not a social group as my classmates said. It turns out that the street is the agency of urban grass-roots units, and it is responsible for social management functions. Generally, there are several neighborhood committees under its jurisdiction. At that time, street residents were quite simple, and they often went to neighborhood committees to attend residents' meetings. At that time, many materials supplied by the market were purchased by tickets. These tickets, such as coal chestnuts and food stamps, were issued by the community. In this way, community neighborhood committees can not be ignored in the eyes of ordinary people, and the work of residents is much easier than now. Many old people also call it the street committee. Perhaps this is the reason why my classmates misunderstand the street office as the street Committee.
I was assigned to the street as a judicial assistant. The street where I live is adjacent to the old city and the suburbs. At that time, there were six neighborhood committees in the jurisdiction. Every neighborhood committee has a people's mediation committee, and the person in charge of the committee's work is the mediation director. At that time, most of the members of the neighborhood committees were retired veteran comrades, and only a few members had no work units, so everyone only received subsidies of tens of dollars a month. My judicial assistant mainly guides the work of the mediation committee and participates in the mediation of major civil disputes. There are probably less than five disputes every month. I usually take part in two or three disputes, and the remaining minor disputes are mediated by the mediation Committee. Don't underestimate this work, you can also get a lot of fun from it. I feel the social responsibility for the smooth settlement of every dispute, and I have a great sense of accomplishment in my heart. Later, I was called a mediation expert by the director of a local police station, but I am willing to do so.
After entering 2000, I began to take up street leadership positions, from deputy to full-time, and then presided over the overall work of street party and government. I always sincerely thank my colleagues in the community who work with me. They care about me and forgive me many shortcomings. I was deeply moved by their respect for me. I always feel that people can't value their position, it's just a responsibility. At any time, treat your colleagues with a normal heart, even if they work in the concierge department, they are destined for you in this life, and your little concern will warm all of them. I try my best to do what I can in street work, such as building an inconspicuous ditch or a section of road and lighting a street lamp. It's smaller than seeing things, but the masses are very concerned and moved. Don't do big things, don't do small things. If it is subtle, it can achieve the great cause of the community.
Decades of community work is the best time in my life. Although there is nothing unexpected, I can do it with a clear conscience. I am very calm whether I walk on the street or in the community. I feel happy and satisfied with the smiling faces and cordial greetings from community residents. I can proudly say that everyone who comes into my office and everyone who leaves will become my friends. Although some things have not been done well. But that's not my responsibility. They all understand. And my enthusiasm, they can feel true and credible. Some people say that my face looks like Amitabha, so I will face all my friends with Amitabha's smile and wish all people happiness.

20XX From July 2 to 4, I attended the 20XX community worker training course. Although it is only a few days, the course content is quite rich, including the introduction of social work practice principles, the relationship between social work and community mutual assistance, social work practice exchange, group case discussion and analysis, etc., which is very in line with the reality of community work.
During the training, every teacher brought wonderful professional reports. Teachers vividly explained, quoted cases close to life, combined with specific events, and applied theory, which made the problems I thought were very complicated orderly and made me gain a lot.
Among all the courses, what impressed me the most was the special report "Principles of Community Work Practice" brought to us by Professor Fan from the Department of Social Work of Shanghai University. Teacher Fan told us some examples in life and work in humorous language, and his psychological knowledge and problem-solving skills inspired us a lot. Through his lecture, we learned that we should face different people with different strategies, understand the psychological factors behind different people, and be good at thinking from the perspective of residents. Therefore, in the future work, we should respect every resident, listen to their complaints patiently, let them vent their emotions and express their dissatisfaction, gain insight into information and residents' demands from nuances, and understand the underlying reasons behind the incident, so as to better solve problems and serve residents.
Group case discussion and centralized comments, let us share the social work experience of community colleagues and analyze cases with teachers, learn how to deal with the contradictions and problems we face, and improve our professional quality and theoretical level, which has benefited me a lot.
This training contains all kinds of theoretical knowledge and practical experience needed for community work, which makes us learn valuable work experience. I deeply realized that as a social worker, one should not only have a heart to serve residents, but also have professional knowledge of social work and comprehensive knowledge of psychology and sociology, and be proficient in laws, regulations, policies and social work methods related to community work such as individual cases, groups, communities and social work administration. As social workers in the new era, they should play their due role in grass-roots posts in the community with innovative ideas, be down-to-earth in their daily work, bravely shoulder heavy burdens, strive to improve their ability and level of serving residents, solve problems for the people, do more practical things for the people, and truly "the people have a call, and I have a response; I will do what the people want. In May of 20XX, I attended a social worker training class held by Xilincheng School in Songjiang District. After this training, I have a deep understanding of social work, social work methods and social work values. Let me briefly talk about some experiences.
My understanding of social work-the scientific method of helping others is a helping activity, an art and a profession. The essential characteristics of modern social work are: adhering to the values of altruism and helping others, comprehensively using the professional knowledge and methods of social work, providing professional social services for individuals, families, organizations, institutions and communities in need, helping them to relieve, solve and prevent social problems, restoring and developing social functions, and promoting social fairness and justice.
In the process of learning, what I feel most is that the teacher combed the content of learning, systematically combed the knowledge and passed it on to us. For example, according to the intervention method, it is divided into two topics: group and case, and it is also discussed according to the clients. This "thematic" teaching mode makes us pay more attention to the problems and skills presented in different fields, and deepen our understanding and application of different skills in induction and analysis, which can be described as "reviewing the old and learning the new". At the same time, it is a good way to let students actively express their views and concepts through group discussion in class, which not only enlivens the classroom atmosphere, but also increases the interaction with teachers, which can be described as "learning something new" and killing two birds with one stone. I personally like this kind of discussion in class. I think it is a good way to express one's views, listen to other people's thoughts and ideas, and show the wisdom and joy of sharing when showing the team's achievements.
Social workers are not simply helping others. This is my initial idea. Through learning, I learned that the professional knowledge and ability of social workers can be divided into three parts: First, values. Different from other social disciplines, social work is a value-oriented major, and value is the soul of social work major. The value of social work refers to the requirements and provisions of social work on the value tendency of social workers in their professional practice activities. As a professional social worker, one should have professional values such as equality, respect, democracy, acceptance, honesty, helping others and self-help, and self-determination. The second is the knowledge system. Social workers should not only have professional knowledge of social work, but also have comprehensive knowledge of psychology, sociology, politics, management, education and law, and be familiar with laws, regulations and policies related to social work. The third is practical ability. Social workers should skillfully use social work methods such as case work, group work, community work and social management to help clients solve problems, overcome difficulties, tap potential and restore and develop social functions. In the process of social service, social workers should be able to establish professional relationships with various services, make predictions about the problems of service targets, formulate service plans and service agreements, independently accept cases, close cases and provide follow-up services, evaluate the quality and effect of professional services provided, formulate scientific and reasonable work plans and development plans, integrate and utilize relevant social service resources, expand service areas and influence social policies.
Time flies, and this social worker training is over. In this training, I listened to the wonderful and practical courses carefully. Although the courses in training are not necessarily directly related to daily work, the division of labor in community work is not separated, and it is what every social worker should do to master relevant policies and situations.
Social workers in the new century should play their due role in grass-roots posts in the community with innovative ideas. As a younger generation of social workers, we should integrate theory with practice, be down-to-earth in our daily work, bravely shoulder heavy burdens, strive to improve the skills and level of our clients, and make contributions to grassroots construction!
