Basic strategies in the workplace

CTRL+SHIFT+* (asterisk) selects the area around the current cell (the selected area is multiple areas contained in blank rows and columns).

SHIFT+ arrow keys extend the selected area by one cell width.

CTRL+SHIFT+ Arrow keys expand the selected area to the last non-blank cell in the same row or column as the active cell.

SHIFT+HOME extends the selected area to the beginning of the line.

CTRL+SHIFT+HOME extends the selection to the beginning of the worksheet.

CTRL+SHIFT+END extends the selected area to the last used cell (lower right corner) of the worksheet.

SHIFT+ spacebar to select the whole line.

If multiple cells are selected, only the current cell is selected.

SHIFT+PAGEDOWN expands the selected area down by one screen.

SHIFT+PAGEUP expands the selected area up by one screen.

CTRL+SHIFT+ spacebar selects all objects on the worksheet and one object at the same time.
