Geology:

Yuhua District, the geological type belongs to the erosion and accumulation soil structure of flood plain, and the surface lithology is mainly sandy clay and clayey sand.

Geologically, Yuhua District has been in decline since the Mesozoic Yanshan Movement. Geologically, it belongs to Jizhong depression, and huge tertiary and quaternary materials have been deposited. Its basement is a huge undulating bedrock ancient landform, which was basically buried by various erosion and denudation substances mainly from Taihang Mountain as early as the Late Tertiary, showing the embryonic form of plain landform.

Since the Quaternary, on the basis of the rudiment of the plain, with the further decline of the plain relative to Taihang Mountain, various eroded loose materials have been deposited, which further flattened the plain and gradually formed a modern plain landscape.
