Psychiatrist training rules are divided into training objectives and training methods:

1. Training objective: To lay a solid foundation for clinical work in psychiatric department. The first task is to cultivate the clinical diagnosis and treatment ability of general psychiatric department, and to have certain ability to deal with other diseases closely related to mental illness. Residents can master the correct clinical working methods, accurately collect medical history, standardize mental and physical examination, correctly write medical records, be familiar with the routine diagnosis and treatment (including diagnosis and treatment technology) and clinical pathway in rotation departments, and correctly diagnose and deal with common diseases in psychiatry.

2. Training mode: It is conducted in the psychiatric department and related departments in turn, and the prescribed quantitative indicators of clinical skills and the prescribed self-study content are completed by managing patients, participating in outpatient and emergency work and various teaching activities. Fill in the registration manual of standardized training for residents, standardize the writing of medical records, and participate in the clinical teaching of psychiatry for interns, interns and residents. Related rotation departments mainly include: cardiovascular medicine, emergency department or ICU, neurology, etc. Psychiatric rotation includes: intensive care unit (mainly severe psychotic disorder) mild ward or clinical psychology department (mainly neurotic disorder) other psychiatric wards, psychiatric outpatient department and emergency department, etc.
