Shandong Airlines Co., Ltd. was established in 1999 12 13. Its predecessor was Shandong Airlines Co., Ltd., which was established in 1994. Headquartered in Jinan, it is a subsidiary of China International Airlines.

The three S-shaped curves in Shandong Airlines logo represent swallows who are good at flying and disciplined, and are also symbols of unity. Yan Fei's three S-shaped wings look like the word "mountain", and the three S's stand for "mountain", "success" and "security" respectively. Eight symmetrical parallel lines around the emblem form a wing shape, which represents the ever-stable and safe flight of Shandong Airlines.

Shandong Airlines puts "ensuring safety, paying close attention to efficiency, striving for punctuality and quality service" in the first place. Flights to more than 50 large and medium-sized cities across the country have been opened, and international routes to South Korea have been opened.
