Changsha People's Police School was formerly a police training course run by Changsha Public Security Bureau in the early days of liberation, and its location has not been determined. After the Cultural Revolution, the Municipal Bureau held a training course in Ma Yuan Bay, Chengnan Road, mainly to train newly recruited police officers.

Changsha police call it a motor. 1March, 1986, Changsha Public Security Cadre Secondary Specialized School was formally established by the Municipal Bureau, located in Changqiao, the eastern suburb. 1998, the municipal bureau successively invested more than 60 million yuan to build a new school site in Luositang, Changsha Economic Development Zone. After the institutional reform in 2002, the school was officially named the Police Training Center of Changsha Public Security Bureau. In 2003, the Municipal Bureau allocated the land adjacent to the new campus of the former No.2 Detention Center to the school as a whole, making the campus cover an area of more than 350 mu, which can accommodate 500 students for full-day training at the same time and train nearly 20,000 students in the past four years. The school has entered the golden age of all-round development.
