Shanghai foreign language interpretation certificate examination training and examination project is one of the high-level projects of Shanghai talent shortage training project jointly built by Shanghai Municipal Party Committee Organization Department, Shanghai Personnel Bureau, Shanghai Education Committee, Shanghai Adult Education Committee and other government departments. The objectives of this project are:

Shanghai Foreign Language Interpretation Certificate Examination is held twice a year. A Sunday in mid-March and mid-September is a comprehensive written test, and those who pass can take an oral test. This project is a high-level project in the qualification examination for English interpreters. Candidates with CET-6 and equivalent level can apply for the exam. Through the training and assessment of this project, we will train a group of translators who are competent for various foreign-related project negotiations, high-level meetings, press conferences, press conferences and international seminars for state organs, enterprises, companies and foreign-related units, and lay a good foundation for the training of simultaneous interpreters.
Examination form: With the main goal of testing the level of interpretation, the candidates' language application ability is comprehensively tested from four aspects: listening, speaking, reading and translation (translation and interpretation). Examination form: According to the characteristics of interpretation, with the main goal of testing the level of interpretation, the candidates' language application ability is comprehensively tested from four aspects: listening, speaking, reading and translation (translation and interpretation). The examination adopts the combination of objective questions and subjective questions, and the combination of single skill test and comprehensive skill test. For example, in the first stage of written test, objective questions account for about 35% of the total score of written test paper, and subjective questions account for about 65% of the total score of written test paper.

The new supporting project developed to improve candidates' English interpretation ability is also a step to meet the requirements of the qualification examination for intermediate and advanced English interpreters.
The main target of this project is those who have English level above senior high school, but are far from the requirements of intermediate English interpretation. It is more suitable for junior college students, vocational school students, high school students, three school students and other people with English level above high school.
2002 10, pilot exam. Since 2003, it has been fully open, and the exams are held in mid-April and mid-June of 10 every year. The examination is divided into two parts: written examination and oral examination. The written test focuses on listening, including dictation, listening comprehension and listening translation.
