How to use air respirator and matters needing attention
The use and precautions of air respirator are as follows:

First, the method of use

1. Before use, check whether all accessories in air respirator are complete, whether they are under warranty, and whether the connections are in good condition.

2. Disconnect the air respirator of the quick coupler and place the bottle valve on the patient's back.

3. Adjust the waistband to the required length and fasten it according to the patient's height and waist circumference.

4. Adjust the pressure gauge to a position convenient for patients to observe.

5. Quickly plug in the connector and connect the air supply valve and the full face cover.

6. After opening the bottle valve switch for more than one turn, there will be a loud alarm sound, indicating that the bottle valve has been filled with compressed air after opening, and the pressure gauge pointer will point to the corresponding pressure.

7. Wear a full-face mask, take a deep breath and observe the pressure gauge. If there is no swing back, it means that the air intake of the bottle valve switch is sufficient. At this point, air respirator put it on.

Second, matters needing attention

1, self-contained air respirator in the process of use, should pay attention to observe the pressure gauge. When the pressure of the gas cylinder is lower than 55±5 bar, the alarm whistle starts to sound, and the personnel should evacuate the dangerous area as soon as possible when the alarm starts.

2. People with beards should not use self-sufficient air respirator.

3. People who can't guarantee the air tightness when wearing masks because of their deep faces or scars shall not use self-contained air respirator.

4, don't let the hair stuck between the mask and face, so as not to affect the sealing.

Air respirator's working principle:

Air respirator is a self-supporting open respirator with positive pressure of compressed air. When the staff exhales, switch an appropriate amount of fresh air through the air cylinder and the hose air supply valve in the pressure reducer. Full-face respirator sucks gas into human lungs to complete the whole breathing cycle. In this breathing cycle, there are two inhalation valves and exhalation valves in the full-face respirator, which open in one direction during breathing.

Therefore, the whole airflow direction always goes in one direction, which constitutes the whole breathing cycle process. Open the cylinder valve, and the high-pressure air passes through the cylinder valve and the decompressor in turn. After primary decompression, the medium-pressure gas of about 0.7MPa is output, and then it is sent to the air supply valve through the medium-pressure air duct. The air supply valve decompresses the medium-pressure gas for the second time according to the inhalation of the wearer. The decompressed gas enters the mask for the wearer to breathe, and the turbid gas exhaled by the human body is discharged into the atmosphere through the exhalation valve on the mask.
