I would like to ask how to prepare for the IELTS test.
I got more than 500 points in CET-4 and CET-6, and worked for two years, during which I had no contact with English. It can be said that I learned IELTS from scratch and took the exam three times in three months. The first two scores are 6.5(6, this small score was originally applied for reconsideration in May), and the last one is 7(6.5).

Preparation for mobile phone app: IELTS brother (for preparing for oral English) and Long Yisi listening (for listening to IELTS listening, which can be played at double speed. It is suggested that members should be admitted to 40 yuan for more than half a year and 60 yuan for more than one year. This app also has English classics, TV dramas, speeches and other videos and audio. I really recommend it. Some students also use "Stand IELTS", and this app also has double-speed listening, but there are many other Long Yisi listening besides IELTS listening. And human, so it feels good), Youdao dictionary (used to look up words), Baidu translation and Youdao translation (used when preparing oral English, if you don't know how to express some words in English, the two translations will be different, so they complement each other)

Test preparation books: Shen Xiao-Ben 10 broke through IELTS speaking, Shen Xiao-Ben 10 broke through IELTS writing (including high-level papers), Cambridge Zhenti Jian 4- Jian 1 1 (I only made Jian 8 and Jian 165438). I only listen to real questions, and my oral composition is also very cautious. Because he grew up in a foreign country and is now abroad, personally, I think his English is more in line with foreigners' ideas and more authentic. Some students also included its reading and explanation of real questions with 9-point talent. First of all, I don't think it is necessary to do exercises except reading the real questions, unless you have done the real questions thoroughly. Secondly, you can use the 9-point talent to see the explanation of real questions, because although I didn't use the 9-point talent, the explanation of real questions in New Oriental is really average. )

Preparation stationery: A stack of A4 paper, a long tail clip (used to clip A4 paper into loose-leaf pages), and a "Hundred Energy Bullet Pencil" bought by Taobao "Zhejiang Deli Stationery Discount Store" (similar to the pen used for the exam, but the pen body is 2cm shorter than the pen issued for the exam, and it is opaque. Why do I list the names of Taobao shops here? Because before searching for raiders, almost all of them said that a store was a treasure, and then I had to search for a long time myself. . . So it is listed here for your reference)

About the exam: official website pays for registration.

About the time of oral appointment (appointment means choosing morning or afternoon exam before the exam, and you can't make an appointment. If you don't care about the time of the oral exam, don't make an appointment. The system will allocate it. I feel that it will be allocated locally three or two days before the exam and in the field the day before the exam. There is no necessary connection between the exam time and the score, but it feels faster to have lunch or finish the exam in the afternoon. The oral test is usually 15 minutes. But by this time, the examiner will finish the exam in 10 to 12 minutes after work), the time to print the admission ticket, the time to take the exam, and the time to give the results (check the results in official website at noon on the day of the results 12). Official website has (if you are not satisfied with the score, official website will spend 1000 yuan to apply for reconsideration within 28 days after the result comes out. Then send the received report card to the address given by official website by any express delivery. If the grades improve after reconsideration, 1 0,000 yuan will be returned to the IELTS account. You can further apply for returning the money to your bank card in official website. As long as it is not too bad, it is basically ok to score from 5.5 to 6 in oral or writing. Because any course of reconsideration has to pay 1000 yuan, it is suggested that the four courses of listening, reading and writing be reconsidered together, so that the money will be refunded if the scores of any course are improved. The reconsideration result will be given in official website 3-4 days after the recipient receives the returned report card. The estimated completion time is 6 weeks, and the actual completion time is 5 weeks. During the reconsideration period, the results will be frozen, and the applicant school can't find the results, so students who want to apply with the results can't reconsider. Students who are sure to get ideal grades choose the nearest test center, but feel unable to get the choice of the language they need to read. Ukvi test and its related test center (the test fee is 2000 yuan, students who need to go abroad to study the language in advance must provide UKVI academic results to get a visa, and students who don't need to study the language can take the IELTS test for general academics).

You only need to bring your admission ticket and ID card when you take the exam. Bullets, pencils and erasers will be given to you during the written test. How many minutes is the admission ticket (at least 15 minutes for spoken English and 30 minutes for written test)?

Speaking: If you take the speaking test before the written test, you should arrive at the test center at least 15 minutes in advance. First, you will sit in the waiting room and take photos, take fingerprints, and then stick a bar code on your ID card (the bar code can only be torn off after the written test). Then the candidates at the same time stand in front of the examination classroom a few minutes in advance under the guidance of one person (the schoolbags are placed in the cart provided by the examination center, and you will see the cart when you leave the classroom and go to the exit), and the examiner leaves. Ask your name, do you have any watches, mobile phones and other items on you (don't listen to the answer clearly). Sometimes the examiner will ask you if you have an ID card, and then tell you that he will take the recording for the exam. Come into the classroom and sit down. There is a square table, and the examiner faces you on both sides. He will talk a lot and say, may I see your ID card? Of course, give him your ID card and he will return it to you after checking it. Put it on the table. Then he said something about recording, first of all, part 1, what problems will be talked about and so on. Ask and answer, the answer should be controlled in 3-4 sentences, neither too long nor too short, this part is 5 minutes; Part2 will give you a question, answer it for 5 minutes, and you have 1 minute to prepare to provide paper and pens for recording; According to your answer in the second part, the third part will ask some noble questions. What is sublime in 5 minutes? That is, part 1 will ask whether you like hats and bags and whether you visit art galleries, but part3 will ask whether technological progress is good or bad, what's the difference between people's past and present in the office, what's the difference between old people and young people's favorite songs, and the general character or quality of China people.

Written test: enter the waiting room 30 minutes in advance, lock the bag in the cupboard or put it in the designated place. The teacher will tie an IELTS paper wrist ring on your wrist, and you can take it off after the written test is completed. The invigilator in your examination room will recycle (paper is not ordinary paper, it is difficult to tear, and the teacher will help you cut it with scissors), and queue up at the door of the classroom to enter the classroom. The invigilator will check and scan the whole body one by one. Then you can sit down in the designated position, and you can't go to the toilet after entering the classroom. During the examination, you can only apply to go to the toilet after reading it, and the time is 10 minutes, while the examiner is keeping accounts, but other candidates will continue to write while you go to the toilet, so it is recommended not to go to the toilet to drink water during the written examination (you can bring unlabeled water and paper towels, but only for a few hours, so everyone should try to go into battle lightly, because the examination time is really long. Unlike the domestic exam, there is still time to check after the exam. It's good that IELTS can be completed within the specified time, so don't think about it or touch it, and concentrate on doing the test paper during the exam. )

Listening: The invigilator will play some recordings in advance for candidates to test their headphones. If there is something wrong with the earphone, raise your hand and change it (the earphones used in the whole country are the same, and so are the playback devices, but there are surveillance cameras in the ukvi examination room, and there are no cameras in other ordinary IELTS test sites). A few minutes before the exam, hand out the covered listening test paper and answer sheet, write your name and test number on the cover of the test paper, and fill in the information such as name test number on the listening side of the answer sheet. On the back of the listening answer sheet is the reading answer sheet, which can only be turned to the back in the reading test. Spoken English in headphones can only be flipped over and played once every 30 minutes, which gives candidates 10 extra time to fill out the answer sheet. In the exam, all names and dates need to be capitalized, but all words can be lowercase. Actually it can be capitalized. Sometimes you can write synonyms without listening to the original words, 40 minutes. Collect the listening test paper, turn the answer sheet to the reverse reading part, and fill in the name, test number and other information. After the answer sheet is turned to reading, it is not allowed to turn back to listening, otherwise the invigilator will give a warning, and if you don't write at the end of the exam, you will be warned, and you will be expelled from the examination room if you don't say that the exam begins. Pay attention to the examination questions during the exam, and the answer should not exceed a few words or numbers, such as 1 word/number, which means either a word, a number or a word+a number.

Reading: After receiving the listening test paper, when filling in the information such as the name and test number of the reading answer sheet, hand out the reading test paper with the cover, fill in the name and test number on the cover of the test paper, and then the invigilator will choose an hour to say that the reading test begins, so everyone can open the test paper and start answering questions (so the end time of the test in each classroom will be different for a few minutes, because the teacher's speed of handing out the test paper is different from the start time of reading and writing, which is decided by himself), and the test time is 60. Pay attention to making judgment questions in reading exams. Sometimes the answer is true/false/not given, and sometimes the answer is yes/no/not given. You can write the initial letter T/F/NG or Y/N/NG, but these two answers can't be wrong, otherwise it won't count. You must examine the questions.

Writing: Send out two answer sheets for writing a small composition and a big composition (the answer sheet for the small composition part 1 is dark, the answer sheet for the big composition part 2 is white, and the rest are the same, so be careful not to write wrong compositions), fill in the information such as the name test number on the two answer sheets, send out the composition test paper, and negotiate the name test number on the cover. The teacher said that the test paper can only be opened at the beginning of the writing test, otherwise it will be warned. Examination time 1 hour. You can allocate the time for writing small or big compositions at will, and write small or big compositions first. However, the official recommendation is 20 minutes for small composition and 40 minutes for big composition. Neither the big composition nor the small composition is 1: 1. The big composition accounts for 2/3, and the small composition accounts for 1/3, so you must write the big composition well.

Prepare suggestions

Spoken English: There is a question bank for IELTS speaking, which will be changed in June, May and September every year (about two-thirds of the questions will be changed, and new questions will be given in the first two weeks of each month in these three months, and then a new question bank will be formed according to the sharing of candidates, which will start to be stable next month. If it is not a great god, avoid the question changing season). The test center you registered on IELTS app has mastered the sharing of all candidates' questions about Part 1-Part 3. If you don't trust, just be safe. The topic will not go beyond the scope of IELTS (except for the topic changing season, of course), and no examiner will change in any examination room every week, so you can also know what your examiner is like in advance by watching the sharing of exam answer preparation on IELTS (of course, the first batch of exams this week), and you can learn from 1, Youku video Simon's IELTS Flip Class, which is about 50 short videos. This is a few years ago, but it is not outdated at all. You can learn how to organize the language or observe the accent. 2. Shen Xiaoying 10 Breaks IELTS Speaking in 0 Days. You can write down the answers by heart, especially part 1 and part2. The question is fixed, but the third part sometimes asks questions randomly according to your answers in the second part, so you must form your own answers. Sentence translation can refer to app "Baidu Translation" and "Youdao Translation". Never recite other people's answers. Examiners are all battle-hardened, heard the sound of death. Never let the examiner hear you recite the answer during the exam, or you will lose points. It is strongly recommended to bring some colloquial words like "you know". Exam examples are also a good way to enrich answers. For example, part2 describes an old device at home. In the third part, the examiner asked: What old things do the elderly generally like? I don't know how to answer, but I can give you an example: my grandmother likes old necklaces. These necklaces are beautiful and expensive. My grandmother wears it every day. A necklace was given by my grandfather when I married him. Make up some nonsense to delay the time. Part 1 Don't answer too long, 3-4 sentences, too long will be interrupted; The longer part3, the better. It doesn't matter if you interrupt, because the topic of part3 is random and there is no fixed question bank. Long answers show skill, and seconds delay time, so as to avoid the examiner asking you questions that you don't know how to answer. I participated in the 20-day IELTS Global Training Course, and the large class cost more than 6,000 yuan, which forced me to use difficult words every day. It's misleading, and the words must be simple and colloquial, so I think "Shen Xiaonan 10 Breakthrough IELTS Spoken English" is very good, with vivid words, and some words in this book are very similar to "Shen Xiaonan". Frankly speaking, many training courses are very bad and misleading, and many methods are not suitable for me. For example, in the reading class, the teacher told me not to read the full text, and to locate the original text directly according to the topic keywords, but the original text was too long, and I spent a lot of time looking for keywords and was not sure, so I took the 6.5 test for the first time and the IELTS 7.5 test for the second time. Someone found a foreign teacher's spoken English on Taobao. I wanted to try it at first, but there was no Taobao shop suggestion on the raiders. I didn't know which one to choose after searching for a long time, but I couldn't find it later. Then I really finished the exam. I don't think it's necessary. Before taking the IELTS test, I have never said more than three sentences to a foreigner, and each sentence is more than five words. When I was preparing for the exam, I recited the answers according to the IELTS question bank. . . Because the IELTS test is completely a question bank, the examiner can't ask too many tricks. It is no problem to share candidates on IELTS app. You will find that you can understand and prepare the questions asked by the examiner. Of course, part3 will have some questions that you may not understand (just ask the examiner, for example, say in a questioning tone that you mean XXX? There are many people who are obsessed with politeness and so on. They must say they are sorry. Please repeat the question just now or say something. This question is very difficult. I can only try to answer according to my understanding. . . Please. . . This is a question that comes out. It doesn't matter. Relax, or you won't know how to answer it. As long as you simply answer and use examples to say some nonsense to prolong the answer and time, part 1 and part2 will answer very well, and you will get 6.5 points like me. . . Of course, students with poor accents should not pay too much attention. They must make the words and sentences clear. It is difficult to improve their accents in a short time. I think the accent is ok. I have seen it in the American TV series Gossip Girl before, but as long as you make it clear, don't say the simplest sentences in English that others don't understand.

Listening: Do the real questions. First, listen at the original speed with the "Langyisi Listening" app to simulate the examination environment. If you don't understand it, don't put it backwards. Then, don't proofread the answer. If you don't have time, listen backwards. Write the answer with pens of different colors. Finally, correct it according to the correct answer, so that you can understand every sentence of the real question, and your listening will be fine. When reviewing in the future, you can save time by playing it at 2.5 times the speed of APP. Some people suggest playing it directly at double speed, so that you will feel that the listening speed is very slow during the exam. Personally, I think it is completely unnecessary. Why do you feel so slow? Do you think you can understand slowly? Listen, understand and write the correct answer is the purpose. In fact, two-speed training will not make people understand. You know double speed, but you still know original speed. Double speed can't understand, original speed can't understand, and vice versa.

Reading: just do the real questions, then understand the new words and sentences in the real questions, understand the answers to each question, and practice quickly. Remember, you don't have to recite every new word. Some words that don't affect the understanding of the article are familiar, and some proper nouns don't even need to be familiar, because IELTS is an academic article of scientific literature, and the emergence of academic new words is inevitable. Sometimes some words will only appear in a specific article, as long as they are familiar with it and don't need spelling, but some new words will appear in many readings, such as axle, which is accumulated by doing real questions. I don't recommend accidentally reading the real question, because I feel that it takes a lot of time to study the real question thoroughly. I can basically finish a text in one day, and sometimes it takes several days to finish a text.

Composition: Don't use templates for big compositions. Sentences with templates won't get high marks! Moreover, to understand the thinking of foreigners' writing, it is necessary to study the examiner's model essay (don't read the model essay of candidates below 7 points). China's writing is particularly poor. When I attended the training, my writing score was 7 or even 7.5. After the exam, I got 5.5, and then I got 6 after reconsideration. Shen Xiaoying also published a book, Breaking through the Complete Test Database of IELTS Writing in Ten Days and the Complete Solution of 6-9 Points, which was published in Jian 11on 20/6. This book is very good, but I only read two pages. As a result, the last IELTS writing score was 6.5. . . Because the exam was difficult to write, it was about crime, but it happened that there was a topic phrase about crime in the senior exam attached to his IELTS Writing Ten Days Breakthrough. High-level papers have really been recommended. Everyone memorized the phrases listed on different topics. There must be something to write. Small composition must form a fixed template, because small composition is very rigid, and the words and sentences used are very limited. The examiner's own essay is inseparable from those words. Moreover, the score of small composition is low, the examination time is tight, and the writing speed is very important. Otherwise, it will be too late to write a big composition. "Writing IELTS in Ten Days" will be summarized by the words and writing methods of small compositions, and this book also provides ideas for writing big compositions.

Then it's gone, above.
