What does VDA6.3 mean?
VDA6.3 is the standard-process audit in the third part of Volume VI compiled by VDA Association.

VDA is the abbreviation of Verband der Automobilindustrie, which means German Automobile Industry Association in Chinese. VDA includes the following contents:

The focus of VDA6.3

(1) Check the process operation guidance document: the process operation guidance document shall meet the following requirements:

① The documents applicable on site shall be valid versions.

② The quality requirements of the document are clear/the contents of the document should not be misunderstood.

③ Clear organizational and technical interfaces with adjacent processes.

④ There are clear inspection methods and quality judgment standards.

⑤ In the process of statistical control, the methods of statistical control should be clarified.

(2) Check the qualifications of operators. Operators of key, important and special processes (including inspectors related to this process) shall be trained according to regulations and hold relevant certificates.

(3) Check related equipment. Processing equipment, test equipment, tooling, molds, knives, etc. Those related to the process shall be intact, clearly marked, and the equipment accuracy can meet the requirements.

(4) Check the working environment. The working environment related to the process, including the requirements of temperature and humidity, the identification and isolation of parts under different inspection and test conditions, and the cleanliness and order of the work site shall meet the requirements of relevant program documents or work instructions.

(5) Check the quality records. Including operating process records of operators, self-inspection records and inspection records of inspectors, shall meet the requirements of relevant documents.
