What is the highest level of divers?
PADI leisure diving has the following grades:

Open water diver (open water junior diver)

Traditionally, they are called OW. Junior divers in open waters are the most basic diving courses, and students can learn diving skills and diving safety knowledge when diving with potential partners. You can get OW certificate after completing this course!

Senior open water diver (AOW senior open water diver, with a water depth limit of 30 meters, can do night diving)

AOW, this course provides participants with diving training in different majors, such as deep diving, boat diving, underwater sailing and night diving ... among which deep diving and underwater sailing are required majors. In addition to these two majors, you need to choose three majors to get a license.

Emergency first action (first emergency response)

Medical first aid training is an independent course of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Rescue diver (rescue diver)

The rescue diver course is the first course that requires divers to concentrate on another diver while learning to dive. In this course, students will learn how to avoid dangers and accidents and be able to cope with emergencies in the water at any time.

Special courses (diving courses)

Diving course is a short-term specialized course, and the course arrangement is usually 1 ~ 2 days, mainly 2 ~ 4 professional diving trainings. The qualifications of participating students vary according to the difficulty of diving.

Diving master (Shi Ming diver)

When divers have completed PADI's five professional diving courses and obtained the qualification of rescue divers, they can apply for a Shi Ming diver's license. Shi Ming diver is the highest honor for leisure divers.

Diving master (diving master)

Diving master is the first stop for diving teaching and training. Divers with a master's license in diving can be engaged in diving guides or assist in diving teaching and training.

Open water diving instructor (open water diving instructor)

Through the study and examination of teacher development courses, you can become a real PADI teacher (OWSI), and scuba teachers in open waters can complete teaching independently. Including courses: open water diver (OWD) course, advanced open water diver (AOWD) course, rescue diver (RED) course and diving master (DM) course.

Master Diving Instructor (Shi Ming Diver Training Officer)

Coaches with more than five specialized courses. Including courses: professional knowledge of high oxygen air, professional knowledge of double bottles, professional knowledge of deep diving, professional knowledge of night diving, professional knowledge of underwater navigation, professional knowledge of shipwreck and professional knowledge of underwater digital.

Instructor Development Course Staff Instructor (Coach Development Course Staff Instructor)

Complete the assistant lecturer course independently. Senior coach, participated in training some courses and evaluation of IDC, and assisted the course director.

Head coach (head coach)

Coach PADI represents an experienced diving educator who has reached the highest coaching level of Padi. The coach has a thorough understanding of PADI's diver education system and has rich experience in implementing the whole plan and curriculum. The head coach is a member of the PADI Senior Coach Review Committee.

Course director (course director)

Director PADI is the training officer of coach PADI. PADI course director level symbolizes the highest coaching achievement of PADI system. In order to become a stadium director, coach PADI should complete the training course of PADI stadium director. In the course, they should learn how to implement the PADI coach development course and gain experience in training diving educators. The course director is the most important person in diving field, and plays a key role in shaping the attitude and ability of coach PADI. No matter the teaching in PADI, the training and professionalism of divers, they are role models for other PADI members.
