Can a new teacher extend the probation period?
Of course.

For new teachers who have not obtained the certificate of pre-job training, the relevant teaching units are generally not allowed to arrange teaching tasks, and the probation period is appropriately extended for 2-3 months.

Over the past year, the newly added full-time teachers engaged in education and teaching in our school include normal college graduates and university doctoral graduates. The implementation of pre-service training for young teachers is an important link for new teachers to learn the basic skills of education and teaching, strengthen the cultivation of teachers' morality and realize the transformation from students to teachers. All teaching colleges (departments) should attach great importance to pre-job training.

In principle, new teachers can teach several chapters under the guidance of their tutors in the first school year, so as to ensure that they have enough time to study educational teaching theories and strengthen the training of teaching skills. Counselors must arrange their work well and handle the relationship between work and study during the training period. If they can't guarantee the study time, they will be disqualified from the exam.

At present, on-the-job personnel who undertake teaching tasks but have not yet obtained the qualification certificate of college teachers and have a bachelor's degree or above. Graduates of Pedagogy in normal universities who have participated in pre-job training may be exempted from the courses of higher education and higher education psychology.
