TOEFL is an English proficiency test organized by educational testing service (ETS). Its full name is "English proficiency test for non-native English speakers" and its Chinese transliteration is "TOEFL".
To tell the truth, on a global scale, the recognition of IELTS and TOEFL is basically the same now.
The point is: First of all, you should make it clear that a certificate is a certificate and English ability is English ability.
1. If you want to engage in more professional English-related work, it is not enough to rely solely on IELTS or TOEFL scores. For example, if you plan to engage in translation work, then you need to specialize in eight, and then do research.
If you want to enter a foreign company, most excellent foreign companies actually have no clear English requirements. For example, take a "Big Four" company as an example (language requirements will change slightly between different positions).

If you don't want to go to a foreign company and just want to get extra points for yourself through good language performance, it is enough to take CET-4 and CET-6 (IELTS TOEFL is still expensive, just to prove that you really don't need it). HR doesn't care what you take. As long as your score is much higher than others, it may make HR shine.
