Kaifeng University has the following departments: School of Civil Engineering, School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, School of Materials and Chemical Engineering, School of Information Engineering (Software Vocational and Technical College) (Computer Teaching and Research Department, Mathematics Teaching and Research Department), School of Finance and Economics, Tourism College, Art and Design College, Foreign Language College (Foreign Language Teaching and Research Department), Humanities College, Medical Department, International Education College and Art and Design College.

Kaifeng University 12 College has two departments, five public teaching and research sections, and more than 50 majors, covering six categories: engineering, management, literature, economics, medicine and art. The department of traditional Chinese medicine has the strongest comprehensive strength (two state-controlled majors, namely stomatology and clinical medicine), and the school with the largest number of students and the oldest qualifications is the School of Finance and Economics (seven majors).

The school has only one undergraduate major, which is jointly organized with Henan University, and awarded the graduation certificate of Henan University, majoring in civil engineering. The school has five majors, three in science and two in liberal arts. Liberal arts majors are tourism management of Tourism College and logistics management of Finance and Economics College respectively. Needless to say, national control majors and undergraduate majors are relatively the best majors.
