Sichuan Rural Credit Cooperative Association (referred to as Sichuan Rural Credit Cooperative) was established on June 28th, 2005. It undertakes the management, guidance, coordination and service functions of the rural credit cooperatives in the whole province, and is established according to the main hall level. The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Sichuan Provincial People's Government shall perform the responsibilities of investor on behalf of the provincial party committee and government.

Up to now, Sichuan Rural Credit Cooperatives have more than 40,000 employees, county-level cooperatives 174 and 6 147 outlets, which shoulder the heavy responsibility of providing financial services to more than 68 million farmers in Sichuan Province and become an important support for rural economic development.
