3. The intervention and operation of market mechanism in education poses a severe challenge to educational equity.

Third, the educational administrative departments and schools excessively pursue performance, which affects educational equity and campus harmony. A basic goal of market-oriented education reform is the efficiency and quality of education. At present, the criteria for evaluating schools are student performance, enrollment rate and school ranking. In this context, schools often violate the principle of educational equity in education and teaching, and judge students by their achievements. Students with poor grades have become vulnerable groups and are not concerned.
