China Fire Rescue College was established by integrating the strength and resources of fire and forest colleges on the basis of the cross-military reform and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the former Police College of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force. It is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning directly under the Emergency Management Department, which mainly undertakes the tasks of personnel training, professional training and scientific research of the national comprehensive fire rescue team. The school is located at No.4 Nanyan Road, Changping District, Beijing.

In 2022, China Fire and Rescue College opened undergraduate majors such as fire command, fire engineering, aircraft control and information engineering, emergency rescue command and technology, fire political work and fire detection. It is planned to recruit 19 people, including fire rescue team 16 people and forest fire brigade 3 people.

After students register for school, they will enjoy the corresponding preferential treatment given by the state and society, free of tuition, accommodation and meals, give monthly subsidies, enjoy the medical security policy for fire rescue personnel, and uniformly distribute fire rescue equipment.
