Established on September 27th, 2005, China Certification and Accreditation Association is a non-profit, national trade organization composed of members of accreditation institutions, certification institutions, certification training institutions, certification consulting institutions, laboratories, testing institutions and some certified organizations, and accepts the business guidance, supervision and management from the competent business units, AQSIQ and the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
The main work includes:
1, strengthen social responsibility supervision, formulate rules and regulations, standardize industry behavior and safeguard industry interests.
2. Investigate and study the development and market trends of Chinese and foreign industries, participate in the formulation of strategic plans for industry development, put forward policy and legislative suggestions to the government, and provide information and consulting services to the society.
3, advocate scientific and technological progress, promote information construction, organize talent education and training.
4, participation system, revision of national industry standards, and organize their implementation.
5. Organize international dialogues, conduct industry diplomacy and promote international cooperation.
6. Carry out certification promotion.
7. Editing, translating and publishing certification standards, periodicals, books, collections and materials.
8. Complete the work assigned by the competent government department.
