If you find that your seaman's certificate has expired, go to the service platform of the Maritime Bureau to check the qualification of your certificate within the five-year validity period.

Generally, there are two situations:

1, with 18 months of boarding experience within 5 years.

Failing to meet the qualification of 18 months on board within 2.5 years.

If the crew meets the qualification of maritime 18 months within 5 years, they can directly issue a new four-small certificate after participating in the knowledge update of the four-small certificate. Note: the health certificate is required to be valid when replacing the card.

If the crew fails to meet the qualification of 18 months within five years, the four certificates will be invalid and need to be retrained.
