1. hand-mounted, paper-to-paper paste is very dense, the picture is very smooth. Hang up the picture, shake it, or play it with your fingers, and it will make a dragon-like sound. If it is a responsible mounting, there are traces of wax on the back of the mounting to protect the painting heart; Without waxing, you can see that the pattern of rice paper is not smooth. Repeated rolling will hurt the painting heart, and the back of the mounting piece must be waxed!
2. Machine installed, the picture looks a little empty, not smooth, a little rough, and feels a little wet. There will be a muffled sound when playing by hand, and the difference is still very big. The back of the mounting piece is smooth, and the surface is not wax. At that time, the special machine mounted paper, not Xuan paper, commonly known as foreign paper, one side was rough or coated with chemical glue, and the other side was smooth.
3. There are a lot of points on the (very rough) pictures mounted by ordinary machines, and the wrinkles that appear when the machine is pressed, such as rough inlays and uneven thickness, are obvious. These are all caused by the operation process of machine mounting, which is difficult to avoid, with only serious differences. Parts installed in the machine will become unstable and uneven in a short time after being hung or framed; Qualified hand-assembled parts will not, and inferior hand-assembled parts are not as good as machine-assembled parts.
4. Machine mounting is popular in northern China, which is rough and dull; Hand mounting can better show the ink halo of the work and make the picture not rigid. Manual mounting needs to select experts to mount, and some poor experts (even those with little knowledge) have not solved the problem of using paste, which leads to very hard mounting and easy to break. The collected calligraphy and paintings are unnecessary, so don't rush to mount and back cover them. Theoretically, it is desirable to entrust the painting first, which is beneficial to the collection. The collected paintings must be mounted by hand, which is the best choice; Often seen paintings and calligraphy works are framed and backed into finished products, which are convenient to take, put and enjoy.
