Causes of stuttering

The reasons for stuttering are complicated. According to many years' correction experience, most stutterers deliberately imitate others in childhood, as well as diseases, fright, mental trauma and other reasons. Here is a summary of several situations for parents' self-analysis.

Children are very good at imitation. They feel fresh when they see anything, and like to imitate, especially those who stutter around them. Some people deliberately imitate some literary works after seeing them. After a long time, they form the habit of stuttering, which is difficult to get rid of.

From the common diseases in childhood, only when the nose, throat or respiratory tract are affected will there be serious symptoms, so that when the child is sick, abnormal words and actions, such as stuttering, will be formed over time.

Second, the critical period of stuttering

1. About three years old.

Stuttering mostly occurs in early childhood, especially when they learn to speak and speak. During this period, their conditioned reflex is not consolidated enough. What is presented to them is a new world and new things. They are active in thinking but have a small vocabulary, so they have so-called stuttering phenomena such as pauses and breathes. If they are not properly guided when they say bad things, it will easily lead to stuttering.

Three common types of stuttering in children

1. Recurrent stuttering

Features: When speaking, the same pronunciation can be repeated many times, such as: Wang … Wang … Miss Wang, which is the most common and common type. Usually repeated several times, some serious repeated more than a dozen times.

2. moderate stuttering

Features: When a word suddenly gets stuck in the middle, the more serious the stuttering, the more obstacles and the longer the pause time.

3. Habitual stuttering

Characteristics: This is a habitual speech rhythm disorder caused by directional reflex.

4. Difficult stuttering
