Suzhou No.6 Middle School opened an art class in 1992. So far, more than ten students have graduated. The admission rate of college entrance examination is nearly 100%, and the undergraduate rate is over 90%. Art education in our school has reached the anniversary of 16, and the teaching of art specialty is self-contained. Professional teachers have accumulated rich teaching experience, are familiar with the enrollment requirements and characteristics of various art colleges, can teach students in accordance with their aptitude in the teaching process, and make professional designs for students according to their conditions. Culture class is as important as art class, and the teachers of culture class have rich teaching experience in art class.
Our school will recruit four urban art classes in 2008. There are three majors: art, music, film and television performance and broadcast hosting. Among them, art includes international classes, which are jointly organized with the Central Academy of Fine Arts of Ukraine and taught by Ukrainian art teachers; Music is the source base of Raffles Conservatory of Music in Singapore. A certain number of students are selected to study abroad every year and enjoy different scholarships according to a certain proportion. The major of film and television performance and broadcast hosting cooperates with Xie Jin Film and Television Art College of Shanghai Normal University.
I. Training objectives
Improve students' comprehensive quality and develop students' personality. Art graduates can not only apply for art majors in colleges and universities, but also apply for non-art majors in colleges and universities with the qualification of art specialty students, and can also study abroad directly.

Urban junior high school graduates who have basic knowledge of music or art, are healthy (art requires no color blindness and weak color) and meet the enrollment conditions of Suzhou senior high school can apply for the exam.

Fourth, the examination method

Music category: singing a non-popular song (song track is optional), instrumental music or dance fragments are optional, listening to music and singing, imitating rhythm.

4. Those who pass the professional examination will be issued with certificates.
