With the support of the college and the department, I conducted a three-month internship training in Zhuzhou Branch of XXXX Tianshi International Accounting Firm Co., Ltd. from March to May. During my internship, I participated in the management consulting project of an economical hotel chain in Changsha, which was undertaken by the firm. The following is my work content and experience:
I. Project Background and Work Content
The management consulting business signed with Shi Tian University is an economical hotel chain in Hunan. In recent years, with the increasingly fierce competition in the economy hotel market, the rising prices of raw materials and labor costs may have a greater impact on the hotel's future capital, profitability and profit level. At the same time, with the continuous expansion of hotel scale and the increase of management level and scope, the financial control risk of the company is increasing. In addition, in order to meet the needs of the company's expansion, the scale of financial personnel has also expanded, and the number of new employees has also increased. These factors put forward higher requirements for the standardization of corporate financial management. Therefore, the main goal of this project is to design the hotel's financial management system, guide the company and its subordinate branches to standardize financial management, sort out the relevant processes of the company's financial management, and improve the company's financial management level and monitoring ability.
The business of this management consultation is divided into four stages. The first stage is the field investigation stage, in which the management, finance department, audit department, engineering department, administration department and other relevant departments and personnel of the company are investigated on the spot to understand the company's related work flow, rights and responsibilities, work content, management activities and related systems. The second stage is the preparation stage of the work result (draft), which collates and analyzes the data obtained from the field investigation and prepares the work result (draft) on the basis of information analysis; The third stage is the discussion stage of work achievement (draft), which discusses the content of work achievement (draft) with the relevant personnel of the company and improves the relevant content. The fourth stage is the stage of revision and delivery. According to the above-mentioned relevant opinions, the work results (draft) are revised to form a formal draft of results delivery.
There are four people involved in this project, and the project manager breaks down the tasks. The task assigned to me is to prepare the fund management system of the hotel and the job responsibilities of the financial personnel. Although I have been engaged in accounting and financial management for 20 years in enterprises, there is still a big difference between the financial management of hotels and industrial enterprises. Economic business processing is not as complicated as industrial enterprises, and management focuses on fund monitoring, so the formulation of fund management system is particularly important. After a week's on-the-spot investigation, aiming at the specific situation of the hotel, referring to the advanced experience of other economic chain hotels, and exchanging opinions with the general manager of the hotel finance center and the personnel of the finance department, I formulated the hotel fund management system, covering fund planning, fund payment, fund monitoring, cash management, bank account management and so on. At the same time, I used VOSIO software to compile various flow charts of fund management. According to the fund management system, the internal authority control guidelines and related fund forms are compiled.
When formulating the post responsibilities of financial personnel, we refer to the original system of the hotel, adjust the post arrangement according to the current personnel reform of the hotel, and make detailed provisions on the responsibilities of financial positions around the requirements of fund management.
Second, the harvest and suggestions
Through this study in an accounting firm, I learned not only the main responsibilities and institutional composition of the firm, but also the recent accounting policies and regulations, and gradually became familiar with the process and key steps of management consulting business. In addition, I also have a general understanding of the management mode and financial management of economic chain hotels, and realize the importance of management consulting responsibilities of accounting firms. No matter from the perspective of social development or enterprise survival, a perfect financial system is essential, and as office staff, they must have good personal qualities, as well as good professional ability and physical quality, in order to adapt to and be competent for this important work. This attachment exercise not only improved my professional quality, but also gave me a better understanding of the talent training reform in the college. Although it is difficult for graduates to find jobs in recent years, it is not easy for enterprises to choose accountants that meet their own requirements, especially computer accounting. Through this exercise, I think there are two reasons: first, it is difficult to find accounting talents who understand the industry, software and production and operation characteristics of enterprises and can quickly integrate into enterprises; Secondly, in addition to professional quality, it is difficult to find accountants with high comprehensive quality, especially calm, meticulous and diligent accountants. Finally, I worked in Xianyang Road Primary School. In the past, it was only understood as blindly completing the task according to the arrangement of the superior and coping with the inspection of the working group. So I have been doing repetitive work all these years, lacking initiative and subjectivity. Through the study, I realized that to have a concrete and feasible development plan on campus, I need to carefully analyze the present situation of my campus and formulate my own ideas and methods for running a school. Through learning, I have a deep understanding of campus development and teachers' career planning; Through study, I understand that as a principal, you should have courage, knowledge, law and affection. Courage means that as a principal, the brave are fearless, the benevolent are carefree, and the wise are not confused. Knowledge means having knowledge and more knowledge.
