Everyone can choose different paths to obtain VCP5 certificate according to their different training and certification examination experience. For more information, please refer to the following instructions:

1. The storage path marked in yellow below is valid before February 29th, 20 12. If you have obtained the VCP4 certificate, you can obtain the VCP5 certificate by taking the VCP5 exam directly without any training before February 29th, 20 12. After this date, you must take a 2-day new feature of vSphere5:ICM or a 5-day study of VSP here 5:ICM to get a VCP5 certificate (even if the exam can precede the training, you must wait until the training is completed to get the certificate).

2. Those who have obtained the VCP3 certificate can attend the 2-day What's New training before February 29th, 20 12, and take the VCP5 exam directly. After passing the exam, they can obtain the VCP5 certificate. After that date, you must first pass the exam of VCP4, then pass the exam of VCP5 or attend the five-day training of vSphere5:ICM, and then pass the exam of VCP5 to get the certificate.

3. If you have participated in the effective training of vSphere4.x: ICM or other VCP4, but have not obtained the VCP4 certificate, you only need to pass the VCP4 exam before February 29th, 20 12, and then pass the VCP5 exam to obtain the VCP5 certificate. After this date, you must attend the 2-day new content training and pass the VCP5 exam to obtain the VCP5 certificate.
