2. Address setting: Just set an address of192.168.0.1255.255.0 at the router port connected to the router 2950. In addition, turn on DHCP of TP router and dynamically assign IP addresses to PCs and hubs below 2950. At this time, the gateway of PC is enough.

The 24 ports in front of the 2950 are connected to a PC or an upper network device. The console cannot be directly connected to the PC. This is for equipment debugging, and only special serial port lines can be used.

3. No driver software is required to install the 2950, as long as there is a power cord to supply power to the 2950.

4. You can set up a switch without IP. If you want to set it, you can also set the management IP of a switch in the interface vlan 1. Then you can configure the management IP you want, and you can manage it later.

5。 The two ports on the right side of the switch you mentioned should be optical fiber interfaces of GBIC for inserting GBIC optical modules.

6. Switches can be configured. If you want to configure it, you must first prepare a serial port line, and then debug it with the super terminal that comes with the system. You can also use special software like CRT.
