The dialect spoken in Xinhua Village, Chunjiang Town, Xinbei District, Changzhou City belongs to Xiatan Dialect Area of Changzhou City, which is quite different from ordinary Changzhou dialect. The former Linjiang Brigade (local), the former Binjiang Brigade (local), the former Yangtze Brigade (local) and the former Jiang Xinzhou Brigade (that is, all the communities in Lv Anzhou now) all speak Xiatan dialect and know each other in Jiangbei dialect.
