At present, the social environment, school environment and family environment faced by college students are increasingly complex and changeable, which affects the vital interests of contemporary college students to a certain extent, makes them increasingly troubled in study, life, employment and emotion, and has a lot of negative effects on the healthy growth of college students to a certain extent. We must explore effective new ways of ideological and political education for college students, do a good job in ideological and political education for college students and help them grow up smoothly.

First, the current ideological and political education in colleges and universities in China's outstanding problems

1. At present, the ideological and political education in colleges and universities in China usually only focuses on the cultivation of students' political orientation and ideological and moral quality, while ignoring the education and cultivation of their mental health and personal psychological quality.

2. The ideological and political education team lacks professionals with psychological knowledge. At present, ideological and political educators in colleges and universities in China lack psychological knowledge, and quite a few people have not systematically studied professional psychological basic knowledge and mastered basic psychological counseling skills, so they can't deeply understand and analyze the psychological development law and psychological confusion of college students and solve their problems.

3. The way of ideological and political education is relatively simple. Classroom and party group classes are the main ways to carry out ideological and political education in colleges and universities, but most of the compulsory indoctrination education in the classroom is not accepted by students, and sometimes it will arouse their disgust. Teachers and students don't pay attention to the usual class, that is, they show movies and brag, which can't achieve the teaching purpose at all. There is a strong political tendency in the study of party groups. Although it can attract some students, it is a minority after all.
