Policy basis

The Notice on Strengthening the Management of Basic Education stipulates that local public high schools shall not occupy the normal educational resources of schools to hold repeat classes for high school graduates, nor shall they recruit repeat classes for high school graduates.

It is forbidden to hold repeat classes.

Ordinary high schools in the city may not hold repeat classes, may not jointly hold repeat classes with social institutions, may not hold repeat classes in training institutions in the name of schools, and may not recruit repeat students.

Guarantee the comprehensive reform of college entrance examination

Freshmen entering the first year of senior high school should not have an increase in the number of large classes to ensure the smooth implementation of the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination and the in-depth promotion of the curriculum reform in ordinary senior high schools.
