In the Qing Dynasty, a picture of two birds and chrysanthemums in Lang Shining was drawn with silk. Longitudinal 107 cm, transverse 77.5 cm. The works use China's traditional painting techniques, add western perspective of light and shadow, and adopt western painting pigments to blend Chinese and western flavors in the same picture. The painting is mainly stone green, with purple, red, yellow and white chrysanthemums in full bloom, colorful, bright red leaves swaying on the ochre branches, and a pair of birds perched obliquely on the upper and lower branches, one elbow pecking at feathers and the other holding its breath.

In Lang Shining, the chrysanthemum in the picture of Autumn Chrysanthemum and Two Birds uses China's traditional meticulous painting, but the scattered flowers and branches and leaves use the light and shadow principle of western painting to make the image very three-dimensional, while the black line outline of leaves and stems, the rubbing of leaves and the rendering of grass still contain China's traditional techniques. Flowers, birds, insects and fish are vividly portrayed. Its color coordination, solid silk thread and elegant shape are excellent works. However, according to the scale of China's flower-and-bird painting, the picture is a little messy.
