1989 Established Humen Trauma Emergency Center, the first trauma emergency institution with rapid response capability in the province (the center was merged with the emergency department of the hospital in July 2007 due to the urban planning and construction of the government).

Established in 2004 and passed the evaluation of "Teaching Hospital of Higher Medical Colleges in Guangdong Province", it has become the teaching hospital of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, Conghua College of Guangzhou Medical College, Dongguan Health School, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Hunan University of Chinese Medicine and Zhaoqing College, and receives nearly 100 interns of various medical specialties every year on average.

In 2009, it became one of the first batch (23) industrial injury rehabilitation pilot institutions approved by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.

20 10 became the rehabilitation training base of Hong Kong Vocational Therapy College. Our hospital specially hired senior experts in the field of rehabilitation in Hong Kong as our rehabilitation consultants to provide all-round support for the rehabilitation department of our hospital, such as personnel training and rehabilitation development consultants, to promote the development of industrial injury rehabilitation in Dongguan.
