Guiyang No.1 Middle School is the highest comprehensive high school in Guizhou. The second largest high school in Guizhou is Xingyi No.8 Middle School.

Zunyi Aerospace Middle School ranks last among the top ten key high schools in Guizhou. Zunyi Aerospace Middle School was built in 1982, and it belongs to the 06 1 base of Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation. It is one of the first three green schools in Guizhou Province and the only juvenile military academy built by Chengdu Military Region in Guizhou.

Guiyang no.1 high school

The first demonstrative high school in Guizhou province-super-large boarding high school, was founded in 1906 by officials Li Duanfen and Ren Kecheng in the late Qing Dynasty. 1950 merged with four schools, including Guiyang Middle School, and was called Guiyang No.1 Middle School.

The school is located in Jinyang New District, Guiyang City, covering an area of 465.47 mu, with science and technology building, concert hall, gymnasium and library. There are 105 classes with more than 5400 students. At present, there are 370 teaching staff, senior teachers 159, super teachers 13, 45 provincial and municipal backbone teachers, 73 master students, 3 French, Russian and Japanese teachers and 9 foreign teachers.
