Article 15 The decision-making body of a school is the Council, which is composed of the sponsor, the principal and representatives of the teaching staff. It is the highest authority of the school and exercises the following functions and powers:
(a) to determine the person in charge of the decision-making body;
(2) the appointment and removal of the principal;
(3) Amending the school articles of association and formulating school rules and regulations;
(four) to formulate the school development plan and approve the school's annual work plan;
(five) to raise funds for running schools and examine budgets and final accounts;
(six) to decide on the staffing quota and salary standard of teaching and administrative staff;
(seven) to approve the internal organization of the school;
(eight) to decide on the division, merger and termination of the school;
(nine) to decide on other major issues of the school.
Article 16 The first meeting of the decision-making body shall be convened and presided over by the sponsor with the largest capital contribution. Members of decision-making bodies exercise their voting rights equally.

Chapter VI Teachers, Other Staff and Employment System
