Suzhou Xiong Jian Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary college approved by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government in July 2004. It was named after Wu Jianxiong, the "Madame Curie of China" who was born in Taicang. It is located in Taicang Science and Education New City, Suzhou, adjacent to the international metropolis Shanghai.
The college is integrated and upgraded from Taicang Normal School, Taicang Radio and TV University and Taicang Industrial School in Jiangsu Province, and has a profound history of running a school.
