After the publication of NeurIPS 202 1, 298 articles participated in the "Consistency Experiment" and were reviewed twice. It is also accepted, but according to the different scores of the articles, the final opinions given by the reviewers are divided into three grades.
The highest is Oral, which introduces the paper in the form of a long report, followed by Spotlight, which introduces the paper results in the form of a short report, and Poster, which shows the paper results through posters.
Oral request for opinions
In order to get the highest oral opinion, the average score reached 7.56. In the final decision given by the assessors, there are only 56 oral opinions, accounting for only 2. 1% of all opinions.
The requirements of Spotlight, which is lower than Oral, are also very high, with an average score of 7.0 1. The judges gave only 282 Spotlight opinions, accounting for 10.7% of the total opinions. Most of the accepted articles finally qualify as posters, that is, poster display. The average score of reaching this standard is 6.36, accounting for 79.5% of the total opinions.
